Project Engineer Tooling and Equipment
Your mission
As a Tooling & Equipment engineer you and your team are responsible for the implementation of the necessary machines & installations to allow production to function optimally with the necessary attention to safety, quality, environment & ergonomics. You will:
- Implement improvements regarding the operation of the team
- Draw up the technical specifications of tooling & equipment with a view to proper operation and standardization
- Collaborating cross-functionally to design and implement solutions that meet production and safety standards.
- Calculate and determine the technical capabilities and discuss this with the supplier
- Managing project timelines and budgets, guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality outcomes
- Provide a smooth handover from tooling & equipment to operations, ensuring all documentation is present before use
- Monitor technological changes regarding tooling & equipment, both internally and externally
Your experience
- Master in engineering or equivalent experience, with a strong background in (electro)mechanical design
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, ideally in the automotive sector
- Experience with working with external suppliers to develop and implement solutions in a technical environment.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is a bonus
- Teamplayer, communicative and client-oriented with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation
- Fluent in Dutch & English
