Chip Manufacturing Support Engineer

As an Chip Manufacturing Support Engineer, you are the link between the chip foundries and customers. You support the customers from the start of the design up until it's completion. Your tasks include:

• Provide international customers with chip design guidelines, design rules, libraries...;
• Guide customers on the technical side of their designs;
• Support universities and small to medium enterprises from design up until tape-out;
• Check and guarantee the quality of chips, by checking the documentation coming from manufacturing plants
• Using the most advanced CAD software programs for providing support such as preperation of chip design for fabrication and helping with final sign-off
• Assisting the sales team in technical discussions

• Master in Industrial Engineering (electronics, microelectronics)
• Good knowledge of analog or digital chip design and their processes
• Strong technical background and proven experience in the semi-conductor industry
• Strong interest in electronics and the fabrication of chips
• Knowledge of chip-fabrication techniques
• Strong communicator, punctual and born problem solver
• Pro-active in customer support
• Fluent English
