EDA Engineer Flexible Electronics


Your mission

As a EDA Engineer Flexible Electronics, you work in a high-tech environment supporting analog and digital designers for thin-film electronic applications. Your main task is developing CAD tools for thin-film electronics. Your responsibilities include:

  • Embed all the information from device modelling in a standard software interface
  • Translate device models into Cadence compact models (Spice, Verilog-A)
  • Design and define test circuits to improve the model (noise, transient,...)
  • Characterise test circuits in the lab
  • Analysis of all main circuits
  • Develop rule decks for DRC, LVS and parasitic extraction
  • Small feasibility studies with new software

You work on the flexible devices in a multi-disciplinary team.

Your experience

  • Master or PhD in Electronics
  • Proficient in Electronics Design Automation and IC prototyping
  • Good knowledge of CAD tool requirements and novel transistor technologies (oxide, organic)
  • Solid experience with IC prototyping (design for testing and manufacturability, automatic test)
  • Communicative teamplayer, curious to explore new materials
  • Fluent in English
