Embedded Software Architect

As an Embedded Software Architect, your responsibilities will be to :

• Translate customer requirements into software specifications.
• Take charge of the entire embedded software lifecycle for space applications and decide project approach.
• Review and participate (if necessary) in the design and validation of the software.
• Provide solutions and ensure proper requirement follow up and traceability.
• Maintain the software and assist during technical reviews.
• Lead the equipment/instrument software functional and performance test campaigns and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

• Master's degree Software/ICT Engineering or equivalent by experience.
• Experience working with (Micro)electronics is an absolute requirement.
• Experience with design, development and testing in accordance with software ESA/ECSS practices and standards.
• Experience using Embedded C and/or C++.
• Familiar with FPGA (VHDL) and micro-processor architecture.
• Fluent in English. Dutch is considered a plus.
