FPGA Development Engineer


Your mission

As a FPGA Development Engineer, your task will be to:

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team on the design and development of FPGA applications for high end interace medical device purposes.
  • Convert the PoC (proof of concept) to a market-ready product.
  • Optimise the architecture and the PCB design as well as working on the optimisation of all low-level software.
  • Collaborate and mentor junior developers.

Your experience

  • Master's degree in Electronics or equivalent with at least 5 years' experience working on Field-Programmable Gate Arrays.
  • Experience working on FPGA development (Xilinx) and programming (preferably Verilog but VHDL is acceptable too).
  • Familiarity using high performance interfaces (Serdes, PCIe, LVDS...)
  • Experience with communication protocols (USB, Serial, SPI)
  • Knowledge of implementing DSP algorithms.
  • Experience with computer memories such as DDR3/4 RAM and EMMC.
  • Experience using SoC Softcores.
  • Hands-on mentality for testing and debugging and a motivation to share wisdom and mentor junior developers.
  • Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus.
