FPGA Engineer Defense/Space


Your mission

As a FPGA Designer Defense/Space, you are involved in the firmware development cycle of defense/space related image processing products. You work on products designed for use in extreme environments. Your responsibilities include:

  • Realise IP cores in CPLD
  • SOC design to interface with the software/electronics and image sensors
  • Realise a full working firmware system (design, debugging and release)
  • Support the software team to build systems with bare metal code or by using Linux OS
  • Document and git version control

You work together in an experienced project team for realising these products.

Your experience

  • Master in Engineering (electronics, computer science)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in digital hardware design (FPGA)
  • Proficient in VHDL code developement
  • Experienced with timing critical designs, simulation tools and FPGA internals
  • Knowledge of ESA standards (ECSS flow)
  • Good know-how of Verilog, GIT version control, Python and Linux
  • Fluent in English
