Project Engineer Automation

As Project Engineer Automation you will assist in and execute various automation projects in Paintshop mainly in function of replacement investments PLC, automatic conveyor systems as well as introduction of new models and improvements to existing installations. You will be working for an international player in the automotive sector.
Your tasks include:

• Analysis of demand and execution of TTC study (Technical Solution, Timing, Cost) for alternative solutions
• Drafting of tender documents and technical evaluation of offers
• Guidance, coordination and supervision of detail design, installation and commissioning
• Coordination with production, maintenance and safety both with regard to technical content and practical execution
• Monthly status reporting to relevant decision forums
• Follow-up of residual points, management of documentation and inspection reports
• Own PLC software development and implementation (mainly Simatic S7/ WinCC & TIA Portal as well as Sattline PLC)

• Master in engineering (electromechanical, automation)
• Knowledge of EPLAN
• Teamplayer, communicative and willing to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Fluent in English and Dutch
