Project Leader Test Infrastructure


Your mission

As a Project Leader Test Infrastructure, you coordinate the building of a entirely new testing infrastructure for new developed products. Your tasks are the following:

  • Act as a technical project manager and be the first point of contact for your colleagues in Belgium as well as in China
  • Set-up project deliverables and report to the mangement steering committee for product development projects
  • Interact with all departments to propose a new test infrastructure and new lab processes
  • Along with engineers of your team, create a test program to be able to evaluate the product performance and its functionnality
  • Motivate and lead your team from the early stages of the project to the delivery, making sure that the timing, costs, budget and the technical requirements are respected
  • Contact and consult suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Ensure a smooth communication within the team and make sure that everybody (Belgium and China) is on the same page on the technical aspects

Your experience

  • Master in Engineering (mechanical, electromechanical)
  • Proven record of project management skills in a technical environment for large projects
  • Previous technical experience in a testing environment
  • Experience in a test infrastructure construction environment or in the process industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and/or air systems
  • Strong inter-personal and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and/or Chinese is an advantage
