Space Thermal Engineer

As a thermal engineer in the space industry, you will work in a multidisciplinary team and your responsibilities are to:

• Conduct thermal analysis to define electronic space equipment temperature, considering customer requirements and various boundary conditions.
• Optimize temperature performance through sensitivity analysis on uncertain parameters.
• Determine appropriate heating and dissipative components to maintain equipment temperature within acceptable range and suggesting design modifications.
• Define test campaigns to check equipment temperature, including test plan definition, specimen manufacturing, conducting test campaign, and analyzing results for simulation comparison and calibration.

• Master in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in space thermal systems.
• Deep knowledge in Thermics for space application.
• Deep knowledge of space thermal management.
• Experience with a space thermal numerical tool, ideally NX TMG.
• Knowledge of Ansys Fluent, CATIA V5, and Microsoft tools (Excel VBA) would be an asset.
• Fluent in English. Working knowledge of French would be a plus.
