Thermodynamics Engineer


Your mission

As Thermodynamics Engineer you are responsible for the development and testing of new products in the field of thermodynamics and energy conversion. Your tasks include:

  • Build physical Matlab models which you validate with a hands-on-approach by testing in the lab and in customer installations
  • Obtain data from the customers' installations to enrich the models
  • Actively map energy streams from the customers to identify energy saving potential
  • Verify the technical and economic feasibility of different designs
  • Usage of PDCA to develop solutions to optimise and balance energy savings, customer benefit and cost

Your experience

  • Master degree in Electromechanical Engineering with a focus on thermodynamics
  • Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or similar software
  • Experience in power generation cycles is a plus
  • Broad interests in thermodynamics, electrical design, mechanical design, field data machine learning and remote control of the products
  • A client- and result oriented mindset
  • Teamplayer with good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of English, Dutch is a plus
