Continue to guide the development of the ultrasound devices for photoacoustic imaging applications.
Collaborate with multidiscliplinary departments.
Play a part in the creation of a long-term vision for the project.
Your profile
PhD in Physics, Mechanics, Electronics or electrical engineering with several years relevant experience.
Experience leading projects is a big plus.
Experience in ultrasound systems is required ; ultrasound imaging (e.g. Verasonics) as well as MEMS and acoustic design and characterization techniques (e.g. impedance, Laser Doppler vibrometers and pressure measurements).
Good understanding of multiphysics modeling + design techniques.
Proficiency using design software (Comsol, Ansys, Coventor MEMS+).
Proficiency using ultrasound simulation software (kwave, Field II)
Experience is photoacoustics is seen as a plus.
Fluency in English is required.
