
Electrical Calculations Engineer
Your mission
As an Electrical Calculations Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring accurate determination of electrical parameters and making informed choices for cable and line connections. Your main responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive impedance calculations for underground cables and overhead lines.
- Assess thermal characteristics to determine transport capacity in cable pathways.
- Act as a knowledgeable contact and advisor across departments.
- Collaborate closely with project management within the engineering division's infrastructure projects.
- Cultivate expertise in underground cables and overhead lines, encompassing technical aspects, computations, standards, software tools, and utilities.
- Contribute to crafting guidelines, standard documents, and internal training.
Your experience
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, electromechanics, or related field.
- A first work experience with connection to high-voltage and medium-voltage cable systems.
- Possess effective communication skills and an interest in collaborative environments.
- Familiarity with offshore cable systems and Finite Element Method programs is a plus.
- Proficient in Dutch, French, and English.
