FPGA Engineer
Your mission
As an experienced FPGA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of FPGA designs. You will be responsible for
- Testing, verifying and optimizating firmware for FPGA in both simulation environments and on actual hardware.
- Writing and optimizing scripts (including LUA) for testing FPGA designs.
- Installing and configuring RAM blocks within FPGA designs.
- Creating thorough documentation to ensure clarity and maintainability.
Your experience
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in FPGA development and testing.
- Strong knowledge of VHDL and ModelSim, with experience testing FPGA code on target hardware.
- Proficient in writing scripts for FPGA testing (experience with LUA is a plus).
- Ability to work with code coverage simulations.
- Skilled in installing and configuring RAM blocks within FPGA designs.
- Proven ability to document your work thoroughly and clearly, ensuring future reference and maintainability.
- Familiarity with Microchip RTG4 or other radiation-hardened components (not essential but an advantage).
