FPGA Engineer

Your mission

As an experienced FPGA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of FPGA designs. You will be responsible for

  • Testingverifying and optimizating firmware for FPGA in both simulation environments and on actual hardware.
  • Writing and optimizing scripts (including LUA) for testing FPGA designs.
  • Installing and configuring RAM blocks within FPGA designs.
  • Creating thorough documentation to ensure clarity and maintainability.

Your experience

  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in FPGA development and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of VHDL and ModelSim, with experience testing FPGA code on target hardware.
  • Proficient in writing scripts for FPGA testing (experience with LUA is a plus).
  • Ability to work with code coverage simulations.
  • Skilled in installing and configuring RAM blocks within FPGA designs.
  • Proven ability to document your work thoroughly and clearly, ensuring future reference and maintainability.
  • Familiarity with Microchip RTG4 or other radiation-hardened components (not essential but an advantage).
