R&D Engineer Thermodynamics
Your mission
As a R&D Engineer Thermodynamics, you are responsible for discovering new technologies for Energy product development projects. You work on the innovation of your technology. Your responsibilities:
- Become a technology specialist in your division
- Make the CFD, CAE and CFA calculations for your products
- Select and identify existing and new materials for thermodynamics, aerodynamics or fluid dynamics projects
- Define and execute product development projects together with fellow specialists
- Project follow-up (timing, budget,…)
- Present project progress to the Technology Leaders
Your experience
- Master in Civil Engineering (mechanical, electromechanical)
- Experience with thermodynamics, aerodynamics and fluid dynamics
- First experience within CFD calculations, CFA, CAE
- Know-how of rotating machines is an advantage
- Knowledge of Nastran, Patran, Ansys. Kisssoft is a plus
- Fluent in English, Dutch is an asset
