
Thermal Engineer Space
Your mission
As a Thermal Engineer Space, you will be at the forefront of thermal calculations and simulations for cutting-edge satellite systems. Your expertise will ensure that space systems perform flawlessly under extreme thermal conditions. Your main responsibilities are:
- Perform thermal analysis of complete satellite systems, ensuring compliance with space standards.
- Conduct thermal testing of space systems and subsystems in TVAC (Thermal Vacuum Chamber), including avionics boxes and MSAT systems.
- Collaborate with thermal engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate thermal designs.
- Provide support across multiple projects as needed, working in an advisory and hands-on capacity.
Your experience
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal engineering, with a strong preference for experience in satellite systems.
- Proficiency in ESATAN TMS and/or Thermal Desktop
- Strong experience with thermal analysis and testing tools for space applications in TVAC environments.
- Proficient in English (Dutch is a bonus)
- Fully remote work is possible, but flexible on-site presence is preferred.
