Engineering reliable powertrains for the future of mobility

The client

Stellantis e-Transmissions develops advanced transmission systems for hybrid and electric vehicles, combining mechanical engineering, electronics and software to deliver efficient and reliable powertrain solutions for the next generation of mobility.

The added value of our consultant Mauro

Recently joining VeroTech, Mauro started his mission as a TCU Validation Engineer at Stellantis e-Transmissions. In this role, he contributes to the validation of Transmission Control Unit (TCU) software, a critical component responsible for managing transmission behavior and ensuring optimal vehicle performance.

Working in a multidisciplinary environment, Mauro collaborates with software developers, system engineers, calibration teams and validation specialists to verify that new software releases meet functional and quality requirements. His activities include preparing and executing validation tests, analyzing results, investigating unexpected behaviors and supporting issue resolution.

By working on both test benches and vehicle-level validations, Mauro helps ensure that transmission control software operates reliably under various driving conditions. Through data analysis and diagnostic investigations, he contributes to the development of robust transmission systems that support Stellantis' transition toward electrified mobility.

This mission allows Mauro to combine his passion for validation, problem-solving and automotive technology while contributing to the future of hybrid and electric powertrains. Somewhere between a test bench and a test drive, he hunts for the one behavior nobody saw coming. When he finds it, a bug becomes a fix, a fix becomes a release, and a release becomes a smoother ride for thousands of drivers.
