Electrical Project Engineer

VeroTech is hiring a Electrical Project Engineer!

Your mission

As an Electrical Project Engineer you will be part of the engineering team and be responsible for the execution of a metallurgical project for one of the biggest clients. Your main responsibilities are:

• Act as the primary point of contact between our client, the final customer, and the electrical partner
• Participate in meetings with the customer, electrical partner, and subcontractors/suppliers as necessary, possibly at the customer's offices abroad
• Facilitate communication between different entities (customer, electrical partner, project management, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic teams) regarding electrical topics
• Manage and coordinate all subcontractors involved in the project
• Provide real-time updates to the Technical Project Manager (TPM) regarding project status and any potential issues or challenges
• Ensure that suppliers and subcontractors meet the requirements specified by the customer

Your experience

• Master's degree in General Electricity, with specialization in Automation and/or Instrumentation
Minimum 5 years of experience in Low Voltage electrical engineering, ideally within metallurgical projects.
• Strong knowledge of key electrical components (33kV transformer, motors, drives, MCC, automation, sensors, communication systems, etc.)
• Fluent in both French and English, as these languages are used daily
• Experienced in working with suppliers and customers
