Your mission

As a Technical Project Leader, you will manage electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70, and 36 kV) related to high-voltage substations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Defining, studying, and designing projects, ensuring successful execution from planning to commissioning and administrative closure.
  • Developing preliminary designs, preparing budgets, and planning projects while considering required and available resources.
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, and reporting to team managers.
  • Contributing to the preparation of tender dossiers and participating in the procurement process.
  • Leading and coordinating on-site project execution in collaboration with various Elia Group entities, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Performing tasks autonomously while reporting to the Manager.

Your experience

  • You hold a Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering (e.g., Electrotechnics or Electromechanics).
  • You have several years of relevant experience, ideally with technical projects or high-voltage systems.
  • You possess a valid driving license (B) and live within a 30 km radius of the Brussels region (this is a MUST).
  • You have excellent proficiency in Dutch (this is a MUST), a good command of French, and basic knowledge of English.
  • You are flexible, interested in technical project work, and willing to travel regularly to project sites.
  • You have experience in project management and familiarity with high-voltage systems (a plus).
  • You are a responsible, organized, and assertive communicator who is customer-oriented, resourceful, and a strong team player.
