
System engineering diagnostics
Your mission
As System Engineer – Diagnostics, you play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and robustness of our transmission systems.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead the development of diagnostic strategies for transmission systems, focusing on fault detection, isolation, reporting, and prioritization.
- Translate product-level technical requirements into subsystem specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Create diagnostics specifications, fault codes, and repair instructions for aftersales support, while adhering to automotive standards.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and validation teams to integrate diagnostic functionalities, validate through simulation and testing, and address customer feedback to improve strategies.
Your experience
- Master degree in Engineering or equivalent by experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in automotive diagnostics, system engineering or a related domain
- Experience with transmissions systems is highly desirable
- Team player
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in diagnostic communication protocols (UDS, CAN, …)
- Familiarity with automotive standards like Autosar, OBD, ISO26262
- Hands-on experience with diagnostics tools like CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe, …
- Good level of English
