Celebrating our 15 years!
On 1 October, VeroTech celebrated its 15th anniversary. Our company, that was started back in 2010 by Veronique, has grown into a vibrant community of people and expertise. From our very first steps to today, every milestone has been shaped by the energy and spirit of those who chose to be part of our journey.
Over the years, we’ve created unforgettable moments: rolling cigars, drawing caricatures, learning about diamonds, themed parties on cruise ships, casino games, flying drones, and so much more. We’ve moved our headquarters to the heart of Leuven, expanded our expertise across multiple sectors, and built a team that thrives on diversity and collaboration. Each of these experiences reflects what VeroTech is about: not just work, but connection.
But beyond the fun, what truly defines VeroTech is our community of experts. Our engineers and consultants have supported clients across multiple high-tech sectors, tackling challenges in mechanics, electronics, software, and systems engineering. Over the years, we’ve strived to be a true partner for our clients, delivering expertise and generating genuine impact for every project we take on. The meaningful collaboration with them has been central to our growth, helping us expand our expertise and bring meaningful results to the world. That unique blend of knowledge and creativity has allowed us to build and remain a trusted name in the industry.
Through all the growth and change, our community has never wavered. Some of our consultants have been with us from the very beginning, while others joined along the way, but all of them make VeroTech what it is today. To mark this milestone, we asked our longest-standing consultant to reflect on his journey with VeroTech. His story highlights the human side of our company, the spirit that has driven us from day one, and the relationships that make VeroTech more than just a workplace:

The first Friday of October 2010, I got a call on my cellphone. I did not answer it, but the caller left a message on my voicemail. A certain Veronique had called me to inquire about my interest in getting a new job. Looking back at the calendar, that Friday must have been October 1st 2010, the very day that VeroTech was founded.
So, in a way, I have been involved in VeroTech from day one.
Now we're October 2025, fifteen years later.
A lot has changed since then.
During the first few years, Veronique, soon assisted by Gert, was account manager, recruiter, office manager, PR responsible, visionary and so much more. In short, she was everything, all at the same time.
The single rented office at the Business Park in Haasrode has made way for the multitude of desks and meeting rooms, and of course the terrace, at VeroTech HQ in the Fonteinstraat.
The first company party was just fourteen people having dinner in Ghent: Veronique and Gert, seven consultants with partners. We knew everybody. The office party has evolved into a full-fledged culinary delight, with music and dance, and always with a fun activity to whet the appetite.
Not everything has changed.
I, for one, am still here. The main reason for this is the spirit of VeroTech. Through all the changes of the past decade, I can still feel the spirit of the early days, the spirit that I sensed when I decided to join VeroTech in the first place.
Because that is what VeroTech is for me: a company not primarily interested in selling manpower, but a warm nest, where the wellbeing of its people comes first. The first company motto is not heard a lot anymore, but has remained as valid as it once was: "A _community_ of engineers shaping your future".
